Australian semi-precious gems and stones used in signature Synthesis treatments

semi-precious gems and stones

We have created signature treatments inspired by Australia's natural elements using semi-precious gems and stones collected with permission from traditional landowners, and handcrafted by a master craftsman. The stones are such high quality they come with a lifetime guarantee.

Each stone has a unique vibrational quality and is heated or cooled to be used on the face and body for deep relaxation, stress relief, improving the skin and for the transformation of mind, body and spirit through connection to nature and Country. We use these stones with expertly created thermotherapy and crynotherapy techniques to affect deep relaxation, holistic transformation and skin rejuvenation.

The treatments are:

Dreamtime hot stone body ritual

Inspired by the presence and potency of Aboriginal stone country, this dreamtime ritual takes you on a journey back to yourself. Unique Kakadu granite stones sourced with permission from Northern Territory Elders are heated before being placed on your body, and used to deeply massage and melt away layers of stress and tension, soothing stiff and sore muscles. Your whole body is brought to a place of deep relaxation, calm and strength leaving you with a powerful sense of well-being.

Thermo-Cryo Facial Alchemy (90 min)

Combining Australia's natural elements with thermo and cryo stone therapy for skin rejuvenation, relaxation and holistic renewal through connection to Country. Starting with a hot stone back massage and followed by a sophisticated facial treatment that leaves skin glowing with a newfound radiance for weeks. Botanicals from the ocean, earth and rainforest combine with semi-precious gems, desert stones and volcanic minerals to deliver exceptional transformative benefits by harmonising the skin's natural healing ability. Mookaite Jasper, Azure gold, granite and marble from the Kakadu and Pilbara regions, with unique vibrational qualities combined with traditional Healing techniques, are used in an expertly designed hot and cold treatment that tones and uplifts your complexion, boosts absorption of the Synthesis bio-actives, relieves stress and tension, renews your skin and senses, and restores wholeness, balance and radiance.

The stones we use and their qualities are:

Mookaite Jasper

Sourced from Mooka, an Aboriginal word meaning running water, in the Kennedy Ranges of Western Australia, this is a stone which captures the bold, earthy beauty of the Australian outback in a fiery fusion of reds and yellows.

An Aboriginal Mother Earth stone it carries an invigorating frequency of strength and vitality and increases life-force within the physical body. Mookaite promotes an ageless spirit willing to accept change and seek new experiences and awakens one's natural instincts in knowing the right direction to take. [Eason, 317][Simmons, 217]

Mookaite is used to:

  • increase self-confidence, self-worth, and to realize one's full potential.

  • keep one focused and well-grounded while soothing the mind and quieting distracting thoughts.

  • amplify one's own instincts when making decisions, especially when there are conflicting factors to consider.

  • bring assistance in knowing the right direction to take in physical and non-physical travel.

  • Mookaite Jasper is a physically stabilizing stone that embraces the power of an ageless spirit, helping one to understand just how closely the mind and body work together. In bringing one's beliefs about aging and degeneration to the conscious mind, Mookaite imparts the knowledge that change is possible and that by raising the vibration of one's thoughts and body, it can greatly reduce the process of physical aging while keeping one young in spirit. [Ahsian, 217]

Kakadu and Dreamtime Granite

Sourced from the Northern Territory, these granite stones have a strong, grounding quality, bestowing endurance and positive energy to those receiving it and those giving it.

Rich in feldspar and quartz to hold heat for a long period of time, granite is much more effective than the traditional basalt used in hot stone treatments, because the therapist is able to go deeper into the muscles for longer, for more pronounced relaxation benefits. The colours of these stones reflect the culture of the Australian Aboriginal people. It is believed to remove negativity and help you understand the big picture.

Azoria Gold Marble

Sourced from Chillago Queensland. This stone is very calming and strengthening to the skin and spirit. Signs of redness and irritation ease. Assists in moving through times of challenge and developing self-mastery.

Pilbara Green

comes from Western Australia with special permission from the Aboriginal Elders of the Pilbara Region. This cleansing stone has benefits for blood, skin, and lymphatic system. Provides clarity and a meditative state, enhancing serenity and protection against negative energy.

Experience one of these treatments, enjoying these stones with expertly created thermotherapy and crynotherapy techniques to affect deep relaxation, holistic transformation, and skin rejuvenation.
