Create a new you with positive energy
So, rather than setting goals, we encourage you to tune into your best intentions and allow them to gently guide you, day by day. And remember any day, and even every moment, is a new beginning and chance to start afresh.
If you are looking for a way to make some changes and manage to stick to them, have a think about simply creating more positive energy in your life. A series of small changes can often lead to big results that will reverberate throughout the different areas of your life.
Declutter
While some people seem to thrive living in a cluttered environment, research suggests that for most of us, it will inhibit clarity and focus, and potentially leave us stuck in the quagmire of our own thoughts. To invite greater positivity and concentration, try decluttering major areas of your home or office, ensuring there are adequate white space and clear sections. This has been thought to encourage positivity though affecting the subconscious - as the saying (somewhat) goes, a clean home leads to a clear mind. Our aromatic Bright Space Aura Cleansing Mist can aide this, using the powerful benefits of certified organic essential oils aimed at supporting the creation of bright, clear space.
Switch off
We are all increasing plugged in these days, despite perhaps our best attempts at avoiding it. This can lead to untimely distractions, increase mental complexities and add to a sense of being overwhelmed or burned out. While it is always going to be a good idea to manage how connected you are to the digital world, sometimes this just won't be enough. In the new year, try to schedule yourself some time out and turn everything off (yes, even the phone!) and just be. It is surprising how much of a difference this can make to your mental health and overall wellbeing, especially if practised regularly. You might also be surprised at how switched on you actually are!
Create
Letting those creative movements flow without stifle is an excellent way to de-stress, calm and recenter. Re-find your inner sense of Self by expressing your emotions or current wellness into some form of creativity, whether that be music, art, gardening, cooking - the possibilities are limitless, as long as you are creating something! There is a lot of research supporting the use of creativity to instill positivity and happiness into your life and is one of the easiest methods to incorporate into your everyday life. Set aside half an hour a few days a week, or however often you wish to dedicate and let all your negative emotions and stress flow away in the simplistic pleasure of being creative.
